COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2014 - Have your say  

Commonwealth Games 2014
In the summer of 2014, Glasgow will play host to over 6,000 of the world’s best athletes from 71 countries for 11 days of sporting competitions across 17 different sports.  Hundreds of thousands of people will visit the city as spectators and to participate in associated cultural events.  Millions will watch on television.

Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services
The Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) has been launched as a new educational initiative to compliment the Standard Learning Credits Scheme (SLC). The Scheme provides financial support to eligible Service personnel who wish to enhance their educational or vocational achievements at Level 3 or above.

Central College provides courses supported by this scheme.

Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)
The Association of Accounting Technicians was founded in 1980 to provide a recognised qualification and a membership body for accounting support staff. It is sponsored by four major professional accountancy bodies including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Central College offers the Foundation, Intermediate and Technician Stages.
 
Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII)
The CII is the largest and most influential professional and educational organisation in the global insurance and financial services industries today. With some 64,000 practising members, the CII has a strong presence in over 120 countries and long-term affiliations with more than 60 institutes around the world. Central College offers a revision course for the Financial Planning Certificate.
 
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
The CIM is the largest professional marketing management body in Europe with over 24,000 members and 28,000 students. At present, Central College runs the Professional Certificate in Marketing, Professional Diploma in Marketing, Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing courses.
 
Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
Central College is an approved centre for delivering CIPS courses. At present we run the Foundation Stage Purchasing & Supply-Day Release, Foundation Stage Purchasing & Supply-Evening, Professional stage Purchasing & Supply-Day Release, Professional Stage Purchasing & Supply-Evening and Twilight Professional Programme in Purchasing & Supply courses.
 
Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD)
The CIPD, with over 90,000 members in the UK & Ireland, is Europe's largest professional institute for those involved in the management and development of people. Cisco Systems
Central College is a certified Cisco Networking Academy. As part of the HND Internetworking course students will be given the opportunity to participate in this programme with a view to achieving a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) professional qualification.
   
Institute of Credit Management (ICM)
The ICM aim is to promote Credit Management as a vital management function with a major contribution to make the economic well being of a variety of organisations. The ICM Intermediate Stage course is offered by Central College.
 
 
Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM)
Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) is the Awarding Body for General and Specialist Management Qualifications - commited to developing qualifications to meet the needs of today's team leaders and managers at all levels across industry. For over 36 years they have been awarding management qualifications to team leaders and managers. The department of Marketing, Management and Design offers the Introductory Certificate in Management and Certificate in Management.
 
Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (OCR)
OCR Logo
The formal creation of OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations) on October 1, 1998 brought together the two organisations which effectively established the public qualifications system in the UK. Central College offers the Secretarial Skills Development Programme.

Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC)
The Recruitment & Employment Confederation has 8,000 individual members (recruitment consultants / managers) and 6,000 corporate member offices (recruitment consultancies / employment agencies). Central College offers the Certificate in Recruitment Practice.
